Visit to the Olympic Music Festival

We went hear Beethoven and Dvorak at the Olympic Music Festival in Quilcene, WA. It's a wonderful setting for a top-quality classical concert, and gourmet picnic...

The musicians play inside the beautiful barn. There is also seating inside.

The picnic area is so pleasant. People really pull out all the stops and make a day of it. What a nice crowd. Many were knitting or sketching while we listened. King-FM radio of Seattle records the live performances, and broadcasts them later in the week.

The festival grounds include a working farm with gorgeous berry rows, fruit trees and veggies. Guests are welcome to stroll and nibble on the fresh berries and enjoy the flower beds.

Horses muching grass nearby echoes the picnic action! We will definitely go again next year.
