Real signs of spring today, despite the cold and stormy weather!! Here's the first sweet daffy to open here, this one is a miniature variety, the blossom is about as big as a quarter!! So cute!!
BELOW: More big news - Rhubarb leaves emerging!! I looked yesterday and saw nothing, but today we are in business!
BELOW: Here the tiny red stem is visible at the bottom. The leaves are so puckered and ready to expand!

Two of my most favorite signs of spring...makes me anxious for the strawberries to go with the rhubarb!
Whoa! I've never seen rhubarb leaves emerging before! At first, I thought you were going to identify them as a strange fungus.
