Laurel-leaf Rock Rose (Cistus laurifolius)

This has to be one of the most enduring plants in my garden. This winter we were hit with a wet snowstorm that damaged many trees and shrubs around here. These Laurel Leaf Rock Rose bushes were laying completely bent over in two from the snow! But they came back to life and seem OK. They are blooming well right now.

The blossoms are much loved by all kinds of bees, wasps, etc.

BELOW: The smaller of my two Sourwood (Oxydendrum) trees. I am a big fan of Fall colors and these trees deliver all summer and fall!
